Inside Technical Sales

Essential Job Functions

• Provide service levels to both internal and external customers that meet the company's high standards and expectations
• Complete required paperwork, including sales forecasts and budgets, thoroughly and by established deadlines
• Meet or exceed sales results established by forecasts and budgets
• Provide the company market intelligence gathered from daily activities and customer interactions allowing the company to react and grow
• Understand and be technically proficient with all products to identify their usage in customer applications
• Ability to describe product features and benefits at an in-depth level
• Travel as necessary to customer facilities, to work/attend tradeshows, etc.
• Work with engineering as necessary to refine/customize new products based on customer requirements
• Answer phones and participate in online chats with customers

Requirements

• Technical degree or comparable technical work experience
• Industrial business to business sales experience, preferably with a manufacturer
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task
• Problem solving skills
• Industrial inside sales and technical experience
• Industrial sensor experience preferred
