Transducers Direct Privacy Statment

Placing An Order

You can place an order via the Transducers Direct web site for direct shipment worldwide. You can also fax, email, or call us directly to place an order.

To place an order via the web site, you must supply a valid billing and shipping address. All payments are accepted in US dollars and by credit card only. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.

We can accept purchase orders for phoned in orders pending credit approval. The web site ordering system can not accommodate purchase orders at this time.

International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes incurred on a shipment.

Order Processing

When you submit your order via the web site and proceed to the checkout, your credit card and sales transaction information is encrypted using 40 or 128 bit Secure Socket Layer technology and sent to an Authorize.net transaction server. The server then sends the data through the authorization network to the appropriate card issuer's bank over a secure, proprietary connection. Your billing address and phone number will be compared to what's on file with your credit card bank. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order.

When the authorization process is complete – after about five seconds – you will receive an approval or decline response on the screen.

Once we have received and processed your order, Transducers Direct will e-mail you an Acknowledgement listing your ship date. We will also e-mail you a copy of the invoice and UPS tracking number when your order ships. When an order is submitted before 4:00/3:30 PM EST, we will make every attempt to ship your order the same day. Transducers Direct does not ship products on weekend days. Due to UPS restrictions, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. All shipments are subject to stock availability.

Shipping Methods & Charges

Our standard carrier is UPS. Other carriers are available for an additional fee/charge. Shipping charges are displayed at checkout and on the Acknowledgement and are determined by the delivery time (ground, 2-day, next day), size and weight of the package. A nominal shipping and handling charge is also included in the shipping charges.

Insurance is always available as an additional purchase.

For International Orders, the customer is responsible for all international shipping charges.

Sales Taxes

Transducers Direct is located in Ohio and is required to charge sales tax on products delivered in Ohio and California. Ohio and California customers who have a Tax Exempt certificate on file with us will not have sales tax added to their orders.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

Transducers Direct will exchange or refund a product unconditionally within 30 days of the purchase date. The product must be returned in original condition with all product documentation, cables, etc. included. Transducers Direct reserves the right to refuse credit if a product is not in resale condition and/or a re-stock fee may apply. Credit will be issued for the price of the product only and will not include shipping and handling charges.

Product Warranty

Transducers Direct products carry a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a product fails to perform within recommended specifications within 1 year from date of purchase, we will repair or replace the product at our option.

Transducers Direct shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Returns

To return a product, simply call (513-583-9491) or e-mail your request to Customerservice@transducersdirect.com to obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.

All non-standard parts are subject up to 100% restocking fee. Standard parts are subject up to 25% restocking fee.

Security

Transducers Direct is committed to protecting your credit card and company information against misuse. Passwords are stored in an encrypted form on our database server. Credit card information is encrypted using 40 or 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and transmitted to an Authorize.Net transaction server. We do not store credit card information on our server.

Transducers Direct, LLC is not responsible for misuse of our site's ordering system by your company's employees. Maintaining your password's security is your responsibility. Credit card orders received by us are considered authentic. If you suspect any fraudulent use of your credit card at our site, please contact us as well as your credit card issuer immediately so that your account can be placed on hold.

Privacy

Contact information is used to process orders and send information about Transducers Direct to our customers. We do not share or sell contact information. Users can cancel subscription to our newsletter at any time by sending your request to Customerservice@transducersdirect.com.
