TDWLB: Hydraulic Testing Has Never Been Easier

Many of our customers love how the TDWLB bluetooth transducer allows them to measure pressure on their equipment without moving from their seat. One of our customers, Russell, has adopted the use of the TDWLB for hydraulic testing of his agricultural machines because it is extremely easy, efficient and accurate.

One example of the use of TDWLB transducers is the CaselH 7240 combine. This machine is just over 26′ long and 15.5′ high. It has two hydraulic systems with nine hydraulic pumps supplying up to 27 different circuits depending on options. It’s roughly 16′ from the back deck to the cab.

Shown is the TDWLB transducer installed on testing fittings for charge pressure and ground drive pressure. Historically to do pressure testing on this machine, wet gauges with hoses or a wired electrical digital pressure transducer would be used. Either option poses issues. Most testing requires some type of operator control which can only be done from the cab or the machine needs to be tested while in service harvesting crops. Service technicians usually work alone so they need to be able to operate the machine and watch the gauges. Without the use of the TDWLB, hoses or the electrical lines would be strung out and secured away from any rotating belts or chains. The testing would be performed and then perhaps a repair made and then retest or remove equipment after verifying correct operation. The TDWLB has made life much easier; using your mobile device, click on a transducer, crawl up into the cab, launch the app and get on with testing!

On this machine, our customer is measuring pressure from 50-7000 PSI directly from their seat. Many CaselH independent dealer service technicians have seen the TDWLB product first hand in technical training sessions. CaselH has compared the TDWLB to many other testing apparatus and find that the TDWLB is very accurate and easy to use.
